Valélectric Farner is an SME specialising in the servicing, repair and winding of electric machinery. This family firm was founded in 1956 and now employs 26 people.
 

Areas of expertise and products

The company has an electromechanical workshop which is involved in the dimensioning, automation, installation and repair of generators, exciters and asynchronous motors.

In addition, the company offers the following:

  • New motor advice and sales, with a stock of standardised motors.
  • ATEX repair service for environments with a potentially explosive atmosphere.
  • Supply of drive systems (frequency converters, clutches).
  • Industrial maintenance: laser alignment, vibration measurement, thermal camera measurement.
  • Winemaking technology, as a Swiss distributor for the Bucher Vaslin group's Sutter brand of grape presses.
  • High-voltage isolating switches (15 kV and 25 kV) for switchable zones.

Valélectric is a service partner of Grundfos pumps in western Switzerland, carrying out maintenance and repair work in particular. The company also manages entire projects, particularly within production lines.

Valélectric Farner has clients in a large number of industrial fields. It works for public authorities and for companies involved in ski-lift operation, electricity generation, railways, chemicals, wine and other industries.
