Pharma Futura SA

Pharma Futura SA was formed in 1989 by Dr Silvio Folli and Pietro Calabro. Its original role was managing pharmacies, but from 2007 onwards, it became involved in developing and producing health food products and dietary supplements. In May 2012, it gained Swissmedic accreditation for the production of medicines in small quantities.

This SME can rely on a unique range of skills within the field of human nutrition, through the scientific knowledge and practical experience built up by its team. The company is able to develop, formulate and manufacture any health food product, including dietary supplements and medicines, in accordance with its clients' requirements, and, of course, current legislation and directives.
 

Products and services

Pharma Futura's particular specialist field is the development of functional products for weight control and improving sports performance. It markets First Swiss Nutrition, a range of products for enhancing sports performance that have been increasingly successful over the last few years. Its main clients are pharmacies and fitness centres, mostly situated in western Switzerland.

Over the last few months, this SME has also been developing lozenges (Red Speed) based on taurine, caffeine and vitamin C.

All products are manufactured entirely at the company's site at Grône.

For third-party clients, Pharma Futura SA is able to produce small and medium quantities of tablets (from 10,000 to 1,000,000) to order.

In the longer term, the company wants to develop its range of products and market it internationally.
