Telsa SA

Telsa SA works in the fields of electrical engineering, industrial electronics and renewable energy. Based in Sion, it is able to draw on many years of experience, a high degree of specialist expertise and a network of skilled partners to manage entire projects, from design to final implementation, in automation as well as industrial electronics.

Products and client base

Historically, Telsa's speciality has been the construction of electrical cabinets, consoles and electro-pneumatic panels, and this still constitutes a significant part of the company's business.

In addition, the company carries out a number of research and development activities, in conjunction with organisations such as CERN, EPFL and HES-SO. It also offers its services to the chemical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and perfumery industries, providing them with items of specialist equipment that comply with the latest standards. Furthermore, it is a key partner in the field of water treatment and management, as well as in energy production and distribution.

Industrial electronics is another field in which Telsa provides services. At present, its activities range from building prototypes to putting together complete assemblies, including testing, programming, and shipping them to various end clients all over the world. The company has clients in every area of activity within the electronics sector. It has worked on basic research with CERN, time and attendance control in a hospital environment, the assembly of high-end audio equipment and measurement and control consoles for the engineering industry, and projects in the machine-tool and watch industries.

Mini-hydropower too

Telsa SA, in partnership with Jacquier & Luisier SA, can also provide mini-hydropower, engineering and electrical installations as part of a turnkey hydropower project. These installations, whose power ranges from 25 to 2500 kW, give hydraulic efficiency levels of around 90%. The main applications are the turbining of drinking water networks, private water sources, rivers and waste water.

"We've always had a diverse range of activities and clients in every sector, from metallurgy to research to chemistry, not to mention orders from public bodies. This has enabled us to get through every economic crisis", said director Steves Caloz in an article published in the Swiss newspaper Le Nouvelliste.
