Mecatis SA

Mecatis SA is an industrial integration company created in 2007 at the instigation of engineers Pierre Fournier and Samuel Vuadens. Making intensive use of technological resources and modern communications, the company operates throughout Europe. It uses the experience gained by its engineers in the various fields of mechanics, and benefits from partnerships with some of the best-known engineering workshops in the machine-building sector.

On leaving The Ark Incubator in Sierre, this young Valais start-up took over the buildings of a former ETA factory at Isérables.

Mecatis operates as an industrial integrator, working in microtechnology, automation, special machinery and metal construction, and provides its services – which range from a simple plan to the installation of a turnkey machine – at any stage of a project.

The company implements a number of tangible projects in its prototyping workshop. It then delegates the production of series to SMEs and assumes responsibility for the subcontracting. The young company also offers its clients a secure online consultation facility for all their designs and plans. Mecatis currently employs 12 qualified staff.

Support of The Ark Foundation

Mecatis joined the TechnoArk Incubator in Sierre in 2008. Here, the company enjoyed for a year all the services dedicated to the young companies housed at the Incubator. Now based in Isérables, the company still benefits from the advice of a coach from The Ark.
