Mane SA

Mane SA is a company specialising in the development, production and marketing of natural aromas and fragrances for the food, perfumery and toiletries markets.

Client base and market

Originally a French company, Mane is now an international group that employs over 3000 people. It has a research and development centre at Vouvry, whose work includes the development of aromas for the tobacco industry (aromas such as mint for mentholated cigarettes sold throughout the world).

In February 2015, the company opened a new research and development centre at the Vouvry site, which currently employs around twenty people. Through this new 2450m² building, the company is hoping to build a closer relationship with its Swiss clients.

Products

The research and development activities at Vouvry are concerned with developing flavours ready for use in finished products. The new facilities, combined with the expertise of the employees, enable the manufacturing parameters of the finished products, including taste, texture and visual aspects, to be reproduced.

Central to these new facilities is a professional kitchen, which enables Mane to develop customised solutions for professionals in the food processing industry. The R&D centre also has a large room equipped with various items of manufacturing equipment, enabling the processes used by leading companies in the food industry to be replicated as accurately as possible, on a pilot-production scale.
