TEDD Workshop Sion Disease cell-models, their use in industry
Date: 27th March 2014
Time: 11.00 - 17.00
Locality: Aula François-Xavier Bagnoud HES-SO Sion
Conference free of charge
The first TEDD workshop in 2014 will take place at the School of Engineering of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HES-SO Valais/Wallis Sion) focussing on «Disease models and their use in industry» in cellular and molecular systems. We will discuss the potential and the impact of key models.
TEDD, the Competence Centre “TISSUE ENGINEERING FOR DRUG DEVELOPMENT AND SUBSTANCE TESTING”, belongs to the biotechnet Switzerland. By organizing workshops TEDD pools and transfers knowledge and technologies in order to promote the advancement of in vitro 3D cell culture, as well as the broad application of innovative 3D tissue models.
A panel of « Disease models » will be presented by speakers from industry and from academia.
