Idiap Research Institute

The Idiap research institute at Martigny has been actively involved in fundamental and applied research at a very high level since 1991, giving it a leading position both in Europe and internationally. It is among the most active research organisations in the field of information technology. Idiap employs around a hundred people, of whom about 80 are researchers, and has a budget of 9 million Swiss francs.
