Cosmotec SA

Cosmotec was formed in 1988 and specialises in the development and manufacture of cosmetic products, particularly beauty products. Its laboratory was previously in Collombey-le-Grand, but was moved to Vouvry, in the heart of the Swiss mountains, in 2010. The company employs 35 people and is divided into three different areas of expertise: science, consisting of R&D, regulatory compliance and quality; customer relations, which includes customer service and marketing; and, lastly, production which covers manufacturing, packaging and logistics. 

Cosmotec has made a name for itself in the Swiss cosmetics market by adopting some demanding standards. Accuracy, rigour, quality, flexibility, professionalism, and responsiveness are the company's hallmark characteristics, and its strength. They result from the fact that Cosmotec pays close attention to each of its clients' requirements, making their success a priority. Its knowledge and expertise in creating bespoke products are its greatest assets. 

Within its research laboratory, Cosmotec develops formulas that are adapted to the needs of its clients, whom it supports at every stage, from development of the marketing brief through to the finished product. In this way, the company offers a full bespoke service while also monitoring product compliance and current regulations.

Client base and markets

The company's responsiveness and innovations have won it a large number of Swiss and overseas clients, including some major perfumery brands. As each client is unique, each is offered a full range of services, from development of bespoke formulas to packaging, and including production. 

From its early days, and given the ever-increasing demand for certain types of product, Cosmotec has kept abreast of the latest trends. It also emphasises Switzerland's natural heritage, by using ingredients made in Switzerland. This approach enabled it to gain "ECOCERT Greenlife" and "bio.inspecta" certification as early as 2006 and, more recently, GMP certification. It will also be ISO 22716 certified in the near future. Cosmotec therefore offers all its clients environmentally-friendly cosmetics that meet their expectations.
